KEP Empowerment Project
The KEP Empowerment project offers skill-based training and education to vulnerable women in the Kechene neighborhood of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
They focus their work on knitting, weaving, and sewing – selling their wares at local markets.
There are 10 mothers who are involved in the program. Thanks to a generous Ethiopian government program, they are given a safe space to do their work. The partnership with Awake and Alive provides training, equipment, and assistance in selling their merchandise.
